Mobibase, a France-based video and VOD distributor and mobile VAS provider, grew its B2C services through affiliate marketing but ran into rampant fraud: fake conversions, bots, double subscriptions and malicious traffic that risked losing mobile-operator partnerships. Opticks was live within two weeks and began blocking bad sources in real time (non‑PlayStore APKs, iFrames, proxy/device tampering, request tampering, etc.), letting Mobibase stop paying for fraudulent conversions, prioritize high-quality ad networks and monitor conversions hourly. Since implementing Opticks, Mobibase reports no complaints from mobile operators, a lower overall conversion rate but markedly higher user quality and lifetime value, and improved ROI and partner management.
