T. S. T. Transportes Sul do Tejo, S.A. (TST), a passenger transportation operator in Lisbon, Portugal, needed a better way to communicate with drivers. Before working with Optibus, the company relied on paper printouts and text messages, which made depot-driver communication inefficient and sometimes caused confusion about vehicle allocation at the start of duty.

With the Optibus Driver App, TST digitized driver-depot communication and gave drivers real-time access to duties, schedules, payroll information, and vehicle assignments. As a result, TST onboarded 80% of its drivers, about 600 people, in just four weeks, and driver calls to the control center and schedulers dropped by 50%. Optibus also helped improve transparency, organization, and driver satisfaction.
