EGS (Expert Global Solutions), a global BPO with more than 42,000 associates, needed to prevent risky or compromised employee‑owned devices from accessing its RES Workspace virtual desktops. To address continuous monitoring and enforcement without directly managing personal devices, EGS selected OPSWAT and its Metadefender Endpoint Management (formerly Gears) to set security baselines and block noncompliant endpoints.

OPSWAT deployed Metadefender Endpoint Management to inventory and verify antivirus, firewall and disk‑encryption status, provide automatic updates and remediation instructions, and enforce custom compliance checks that block unsafe devices from the Workspace. As a result, OPSWAT helped EGS improve endpoint security across its remote workforce, reduce help‑desk dependence by guiding users to self‑remediate, and standardize Metadefender as part of the company’s software kit for new remote employees.
