A OpsHub, Inc. Case Study

How OpsHub Unified MAXIMUS ALM Ecosystem

MAXIMUS, a 50-person distributed team working across U.S. east and west coasts, was managing 10 simultaneous projects with disconnected ALM tools: requirements in Microsoft Excel, test cases in SmartBear ALMComplete, defects in Jira, and source code in Subversion. This fragmentation created poor visibility, weak communication, and no clear traceability between test failures, defects, and development changes. OpsHub, Inc. addressed these challenges with its integration platform, OpsHub Integration Manager (OIM).

OpsHub, Inc. implemented OIM to unify ALMComplete, Jira, and Subversion with bidirectional synchronization of requirements and defects, plus traceability from Subversion check-ins to Jira tickets and related records in ALMComplete. As a result, MAXIMUS gained real-time visibility into defect status and test counts, full traceability across requirements, defects, and source code changes, and a single system of record in ALMComplete. The integration improved collaboration and productivity across development and quality teams, helping MAXIMUS deliver better-quality products faster.
