Making the world baby-friendly as industry leader and market number one1 in nursing bottles

Pigeon, the global market leader in nursing bottles, faced a growing threat from counterfeit products being sold online across Asian e-commerce sites, creating health risks for babies and eroding brand trust. To tackle this, Pigeon engaged OpSec Security in 2018, deploying OpSec Marketplaces and OpSec’s online brand protection platform and services to shift from solely owning IP rights to actively enforcing them across marketplaces.

OpSec Security implemented targeted marketplace monitoring that replicates the consumer experience, handled complex takedown filings, and prioritized interventions against the most visible counterfeit sellers. In 2022 OpSec enforced against more than 2,800 counterfeit listings with a 93% compliance rate, protecting an estimated $2.17 million in sales, boosting genuine product sales across Asian distributors, and reducing Pigeon’s internal workload—while underscoring the need for ongoing monitoring and skilled analysts.
