Kelly Services, a provider of recruitment, outsourcing, and consultancy services, wanted to strengthen its in-house structured interview training so its consultants could better support clients through the hiring process. To keep the programme aligned with current best-practice interview principles, Kelly Services engaged OPRA Psychology Group for support.
OPRA Psychology Group delivered a structured interview workshop for Kelly Services’ national facilitator, covering behavioural and situational interviewing, question design, follow-up questioning, evaluation methods, panel and whanau interviews, legal considerations, and competency-based interview software. As a result, Kelly Services updated its training materials, improved the quality and consistency of its selection process, and strengthened outcomes such as reducing selection errors, increasing the proportion of high-performing hires, and delivering a better candidate experience.
