Silver Chef, Australia’s dedicated hospitality equipment funding solution, was growing rapidly across its Southern Region and needed to strengthen leadership effectiveness to support expansion. To address this challenge, Silver Chef partnered with OPRA Psychology Group to develop an innovative, sustainable leadership program focused on emotional intelligence, self-awareness, trust-building, resilience, and high performance.
OPRA Psychology Group delivered a customised program featuring six facilitated learning modules, two EI leadership 360 assessments with coaching debriefs, on-the-job assignments, peer learning, and one-on-one coaching. The results included stronger team communication, more trusting and cohesive teams, and improved financial performance, with significant behaviour change reported in self-awareness, authenticity, and inspiring performance. Emotional intelligence was then embedded into Silver Chef’s leadership capability framework and rolled out more broadly across the business.
