Infineon Technologies, a global semiconductor and smart card IC leader with operations across Asia Pacific, wanted to improve its selection process with a more suitable personality measure. The company was looking for a solution that included training, could be rolled out regionally and scaled globally, and ideally also offered a cognitive ability test. OPRA Psychology Group supported Infineon through an extensive evaluation of options, including testing samples and detailed discussions.

OPRA Psychology Group delivered the GeneSys psychometric testing system, including personality and cognitive ability assessments, IT setup support, and three days of user training for test administration and interpretation. OPRA also provided a customized report aligned to Infineon’s competency model plus post-integration consulting and regional language support. As a result, the GeneSys system is now used independently by HR teams across Asia Pacific, and the 15FQ+ personality assessment has also been adopted for staff development; four lead associates were trained to use the assessment in coaching.
