Northwell Health Utilizes Opkey to Migrate Their HCM systems from Oracle EBS HRMS to Oracle Cloud

Northwell Health, New York State’s largest healthcare provider with more than 77,000 employees, engaged Opkey during their Deloitte-led migration from Oracle EBS HRMS to Oracle Cloud HCM. Facing an Agile approach with three-week sprints, limited IT and business bandwidth, unclear test scope from legacy systems, and an inability to sustain rigorous manual continuous testing, Northwell needed a way to test fast and reliably across hundreds of implementations.

Opkey provided a test discovery platform that mapped EBS processes to Oracle Cloud, a library of 2,000+ EBS and 5,000+ Oracle Cloud test cases, and self-healing scripts to reduce manual maintenance—enabling tests to be created and executed 5x faster and supporting continuous sprint testing. As a result, Opkey helped Northwell cut implementation time by two months (saving about $1.2M), achieve a 3% production defect rate versus a 7% benchmark, reduce testing costs by 68% below budget, and continue using Opkey for quarterly Oracle Cloud updates.
