Opinum and Sopra Steria Support Enedis in Its Energy and Ecological Transition Services for the Regions

Enedis, France’s main public electricity distribution network operator, wanted to give local authorities a simple and secure way to access energy consumption and production data to support energy conservation and the broader energy transition. Working with Opinum S.A. and Sopra Steria, Enedis needed a customizable data service built around Opinum Data Hub and deployed in a sovereign cloud environment.

Opinum S.A. provided Opinum Data Hub, integrated into Enedis’s new Local Authorities Portal by Sopra Steria, to securely process large volumes of data and let each local authority create tailored dashboards, automated reports, and consumption alerts. The solution is now being rolled out to support cities and other local authorities in better managing energy use, improving data-driven decision-making, and advancing regional ecological transition.
