Odometric, a company specializing in odour measurement and management, sought to move beyond episodic, complaint-based monitoring of environmental nuisances at industrial sites. They partnered with vendor Opinum and used the Opinum Data Hub to develop a new, real-time monitoring solution called Manag’Air, which would provide a more proactive and precise analysis of odour sources.

The solution involved deploying networks of geolocated "electronic nose" sensors connected to the Opinum Data Hub. Opinum's platform was responsible for the collection, processing, and analysis of the substantial real-time sensor data, cross-referencing it with meteorological and technical data. This allowed Odometric to precisely identify odour triggers in the production chain, enabling their clients to prevent nuisances and reproduce optimal, odor-free conditions.
