The French industrial group Socomec, a specialist in energy performance management, sought a partner to help seize new opportunities in the energy transition and digital revolution. The challenge was to evolve its products and services with advanced digital functions for energy supervision without needing to reinvent its own data storage and processing capabilities. They found a key partner in Opinum and its Data Hub solution.

Opinum provided a very open and easily integrated Data Hub platform, giving Socomec the complex data calculation capability it previously lacked. The partnership allowed Socomec to develop new services for proactive and preventive maintenance of electrical equipment and to optimize customer energy use. The relationship also included a reciprocal hosting agreement, with Opinum's platform being operated on a sovereign cloud by Socomec's digital division, Agora Calycé, strengthening the strategic and trusting partnership between the two companies.
