Newegg, a leading eCommerce company, needed a new distribution center that could support rapid growth, higher order throughput, greater accuracy, lower labor costs, and secure storage for high-value electronics. To meet same-day shipping goals and handle peak holiday demand of up to 18,000 orders per day, Newegg turned to OPEX Corporation and its Perfect Pick® goods-to-person automation solution.

OPEX Corporation implemented a two-aisle Perfect Pick® system in Newegg’s new 400,000-square-foot Indianapolis distribution center. The scalable, high-density system with autonomous iBOT® vehicles helped Newegg secure 17 million products, achieve cycle times of 20 minutes, and support peak-season volumes of 18,000 orders per day while improving speed and efficiency.
