Outdoor Sportsman Group (OSG), a leading producer of outdoor lifestyle TV and digital content (including the Outdoor Channel and World Fishing Network), was underperforming on programmatic revenue: programmatic made up 34% of inventory but only 2% of digital revenue. Following a complex merger, OSG lacked the resources to test new partners and optimize programmatic yield, leaving much inventory sent to low-performing programmatic channels.

Within two months OSG saw programmatic CPMs rise 114%, direct-sold inventory grow from 66% to 75–90% (seasonal), and a 6% increase in digital revenue, while internal stakeholders gained confidence to expand programmatic video sales.
