The New York Post, one of America’s oldest continuously published newspapers, wanted to grow page views and retention by building a more active onsite community. To do that, it partnered with OpenWeb to create a more social experience on its properties, using tools like AI/ML-moderated commenting and polling to drive engagement beyond reading.
With OpenWeb’s Conversation and Reactions products, the New York Post saw strong gains in audience engagement. Engaged users spent over 10x more time on site, commenters spent over 15x more time on site, engaged users generated 2x more page views per session, and commenters generated almost 4x more page views per session, all versus non-engaged users.
