Case Study: Leading Services and Facilities Management Company achieves KVKK and PCI DSS compliance with OpenText

Voltage Structured Data Manager and SecureData support full regulatory compliance while protecting sensitive data end-to-end

The Leading Services and Facilities Management Company wanted to go beyond basic privacy compliance and better protect sensitive customer and employee data at rest and in transit, while also meeting global PCI DSS requirements alongside KVKK, the Turkish equivalent of GDPR. It worked with OpenText partner Plainex Technology and used OpenText Voltage Structured Data Manager (SDM) and Voltage SecureData to address data discovery and protection across business-critical systems.

OpenText implemented Voltage SDM to scan thousands of tables and terabytes of data in Oracle, SQL, and MySQL databases, quickly identifying sensitive data and providing dashboards for data owners. Combined with Voltage SecureData’s format-preserving encryption, the solution delivered end-to-end protection without changing database fields, improved data visibility and minimization, and enabled KVKK and PCI DSS compliance while strengthening overall corporate security.
