SIX, a financial technology company, needed to meet new, stricter financial services regulations for protecting client identifiable data while keeping its distributed DevOps infrastructure largely unchanged. Working with OpenText and its product Voltage SecureData Enterprise, SIX sought a data-centric security approach that would let sensitive data remain usable across many applications and platforms.

OpenText helped SIX implement Voltage SecureData Enterprise through a proof of concept and pilot, enabling encryption at source across data at rest, in transit, and in use. The result was full compliance with the latest regulations in a minimally invasive way, with no major infrastructure changes, cost-effective protection for sensitive data, and improved data analytics security in its Cloudera cloud environment.
