Lab Logistics Group (LLG) is the central organization for 33 independently owned laboratory dealers across Europe, Asia and Australia, stocking over 14,000 items and sourcing from 500+ suppliers. Its AS/400 ERP relied on a text-screen interface and manual data entry—three people processed roughly 3,500 invoices a month—creating paperwork, errors, limited remote access and constrained scalability.

LLG implemented OpenText Verastream Host Integrator with OpenText Professional Services to expose ERP workflows as web services, automating invoice processing, flagging exceptions, merging data across systems and enabling remote work without changing the ERP. The result: eliminated much of the paperwork and error-prone entry, improved traceability and decision-making, streamlined ISO audits, and a goal to automate at least 40% of invoices while extending automation to warehouse scanning and inventory processes.
