Using OpenText™ LoadRunner Enterprise and OpenText™ LoadRunner Cloud helps the Student Loans Company deliver responsive online services to learners throughout the UK

The Student Loans Company (SLC) needed to modernize and simplify its digital platforms while ensuring reliable performance across a complex student finance journey that spans application, assessment, payment, and repayment. With millions of online and mobile customers and major seasonal demand peaks, SLC turned to OpenText performance testing tools, including OpenText Enterprise Performance Engineering and OpenText Core Performance Engineering, to support its hybrid cloud and on-premises environment.

OpenText helped SLC test critical applications such as Salesforce and Alfresco using LoadRunner Cloud and Tru-Client, enabling realistic simulation of modern web traffic and asynchronous Angular-based requests. As a result, SLC now runs about 70% of its performance testing on OpenText Enterprise Performance Engineering and 30% on OpenText Core Performance Engineering, with confidence in handling peaks such as 1,400 concurrent users for Alfresco and up to 1,200 external Salesforce users, while supporting a shift-left, cloud-first testing strategy.
