Using Micro Focus LoadRunner Cloud to rapidly set up testing at practically any scale

A European government agency responsible for collecting more than €100 billion in tax each year embarked on a major modernization of public-facing and internal systems and needed ongoing performance, stability and scalability testing. Targets included supporting up to 50,000 concurrent public users with sub‑3‑second responses for 99% of requests, and complex internal workflows with gigabit‑scale data loads; the agency wanted a cloud solution with short lead times, predictable costs and minimal infrastructure management.

Working with Miracle 42, the agency deployed Micro Focus LoadRunner Cloud to script, parametrize and run large-scale tests on demand and integrate them into CI/CD pipelines. The cloud-based approach enabled rapid, repeatable test scenario design and execution, practically limitless scalability, simplified scheduling and measurement, faster feedback cycles, and a clear cost model—helping the agency build performance baselines, identify bottlenecks and move to continuous automated testing to meet SLAs.
