Turner Classic Movies (TCM) partnered with OpenText to build a connected mobile app for iPad, iPhone, Android, BlackBerry and Symbian. The challenge was to give fans daily schedules plus full access to reviews, blogs, galleries, trailers and video clips while distributing the app across multiple app stores to maximize reach and revenue.

OpenText used its Wave-based design tools to deliver a consistent, adaptive UX across touch and non-touch devices, with a dynamic “what’s on now” home, region-customizable channel schedules, VOD, video/photo galleries and TCM’s blog — all fed directly from TCM’s CMS. The result is a top-tier, cross-platform app that exposes TCM’s content and campaigns to mobile audiences and continues to expand through an ongoing feature roadmap.
