Turkish bank ICBC Turkey implements Micro Focus software to deliver stronger quality assurance, easier auditing and clearer workflows

ICBC Turkey Bank A.Ş., the Istanbul-based subsidiary of ICBC, needed to protect its core banking code and meet strict BRSA audit requirements. Its development and demand-management workflows were not synchronized (JIRA-based demand vs. Oracle/PLSQL development), creating risk of unauthorized code changes and making compliance and quality assurance difficult.

Working with OPTiiM, ICBC Turkey implemented a DevOps-driven, automated solution using Micro Focus Service Manager, Application Lifecycle Management, Project and Portfolio Management and Codar, with Jenkins for releases. The integrated pipeline enforces approvals, prevents manual code tampering, runs automated deployments and rollbacks, and provides traceable workflows—lowering deployment risk, improving quality assurance and ensuring BRSA compliance.
