Tieto needed to move from a traditional waterfall model to agile DevOps so it could identify and fix vulnerabilities in real time and release applications faster. To support that shift, Tieto turned to OpenText, using OpenText Application Delivery Management (ADM) solutions and OpenText Fortify on Demand for cloud-based application security without the burden of managing an on-premise system.

With OpenText Fortify on Demand, Tieto embedded security into development and testing, enabling fast, accurate assessments across more than 750 vulnerability categories with no extra infrastructure or specialist resources. The results were strong enough that Fortify on Demand helped Tieto launch a new application security testing service for customers, improve scan accuracy and reporting, and generate new revenue, while one client found the solution significantly better than its previous tool.
