A OpenText Case Study
The Trust for Public Land (TPL) is a U.S. non-profit that protects parks, gardens, historic sites and rural lands and relies heavily on digital images to support projects, marketing and fundraising. With 45 regional and project offices, staff struggled to access a growing photo library stored on an inflexible intranet system, and TPL lacked internal IT resources to deploy an enterprise image solution.
TPL deployed Open Text Media Management On Demand—a fully hosted digital asset management system—within 2–3 months to centralize storage, metadata-driven permissions, lightbox functionality and easy web access. The hosted solution eliminated internal IT needs, expanded the library from 500 to about 6,500 assets with roughly 120 user accounts, sped asset discovery and reuse, and improved productivity for marketing, philanthropy and external partners.
