A OpenText Case Study
The Mosaic Company, a global leader in concentrated phosphate and potash with operations in more than 40 countries, faced extensive duplication of applications and content after a 2004 merger. Mosaic needed a centralized Enterprise Content Management (ECM) platform and a “single source of the truth” to meet regulatory requirements, simplify separated systems, and consolidate data from legacy repositories, ERPs and shared drives.
Mosaic chose OpenText Content Server together with OpenText Integration Center to migrate and integrate content, standardize metadata and retention, and create consistent folder/security models. Using Integration Center to import, map and move millions of files (about 15 TB across 37 sites), Mosaic centralized content, improved findability and decision-making, reduced compliance risk, decommissioned costly legacy systems, and delivered measurable cost savings (including lower legal discovery costs).
