The International Criminal Court reduces risk by boosting big data capacity with Micro Focus® ControlPoint

The International Criminal Court (ICC), based in The Hague, faced the challenge of managing vast volumes of judicial and administrative information across multiple systems and formats while ensuring sensitive records were stored securely, reducing duplication, and accelerating responses to information requests so trials would not be delayed.

By deploying Micro Focus ControlPoint integrated with its Content Manager, the ICC automated classification, migrated hidden sensitive files into the secure repository, tagged or disposed of operational documents, and quarantined duplicates. The project identified ~30% redundant content (about €150k in savings), reduced security risk and storage needs, sped up information response times, and established policies and a gateway for the court’s long-term digital archiving program.
