Fratelli Carli, an Italian leader in direct olive‑oil sales, operates a large multilingual call center that still depends on a mainframe for telephone orders. The company needed a centrally managed, high‑performance terminal emulation solution that could be deployed across workstations in four languages and backed by strong vendor technical support for integrations and new projects.

Fratelli Carli implemented Micro Focus Reflection for the Web, a server‑based terminal emulator that provides secure browser access, automatic server‑side updates, encryption and a security proxy; Micro Focus also helped integrate the solution with the call center’s VoIP and third‑party switchboard. The single centralized installation eliminated separate desktop setups, delivered faster, more reliable access to mainframe applications in all four languages, and improved operational efficiency through ongoing technical support.
