VIVACOM needed a better way to manage its rapidly expanding IP network after growing mobile penetration from 7% to 30% in just a few years. The company selected OpenText, using Network Node Manager i (NNMi), to replace multiple monitoring tools and gain better visibility and control over a network with more than 50,000 elements and nearly one million interfaces.

OpenText implemented NNMi with smart plug-ins and proactive monitoring, giving VIVACOM a single view of its network and faster root-cause analysis. As a result, problem resolution times for major and critical incidents were reduced by more than 50%, auto-discovery improved visibility of new devices, and VIVACOM gained deeper insight into service performance to further enhance customer service.
