TASDEEQ, a financial inclusion and alternative credit-risk provider in Pakistan, faced the challenge of helping lenders assess people with little or no formal banking history. Using OpenText Vertica, TASDEEQ needed a platform that could aggregate and analyze massive datasets from financial institutions, utilities, and telecoms quickly and securely.

OpenText implemented Vertica as the core data platform for TASDEEQ, enabling monthly data updates, advanced analytics, and machine learning on off-the-shelf hardware. The result was faster report response times, doubled data volumes over 18 months, support for more than 15 financial institutions, and strong security with encrypted data handled without performance loss.
