Sysmex Europe GmbH, a leading provider of hematology diagnostics in the EMEA region, was using SAP for ERP but relied on a SharePoint-based requisition process that had no link to SAP. That setup prevented real-time budget checks, required manual duplicate data entry, increased errors and approval delays, and made compliance and auditability difficult across decentralized cost centers.

Sysmex extended its existing OpenText deployment—OpenText Business Center for SAP Solutions and Vendor Invoice Management—using OpenText-developed SAP Fiori apps to integrate purchase requisitions with SAP. The solution provides real-time budget visibility, automated approvals and audit trails, a simplified UI with minimal training, elimination of double entry and reduced errors, resulting in better budget control, lower costs and faster, more consistent processes across EMEA.
