A OpenText Case Study
Santander Brazil needed a better way to test its rapidly growing set of mobile banking apps across Brazil’s highly diverse device landscape. Its existing AWS Device Farm setup was slow, costly, and limited in access to key handset features, making it difficult to reliably test functions like SMS, GPS, camera, and biometric login. OpenText was brought in with OpenText Functional Testing Lab for Mobile and Web to support more complete testing on real devices.
With OpenText and hosted devices from Keeggo, Santander Brazil gained full remote access to handset functions, faster device availability, and lower, BRL-based costs. Testers now get a device in less than 20 seconds instead of 3+ minutes, and the device farm has grown from 50 to 140 devices, with plans to expand further. The result has been faster testing, higher app quality, improved QA efficiency, and quicker time to market for new releases.
