A OpenText Case Study
Suffolk University, a Boston-based institution founded in 1906 with campuses in Dakar and Madrid and more than 70 areas of study, faced a major web challenge ahead of its centennial relaunch: a small Web Services team spending 75–80% of its time on content edits, inconsistent branding, slow update processes, and an inability to scale the site with existing resources.
Suffolk implemented OpenText Web Site Management for its ease of use, low coding requirements, and template-based controls. Training and governance put content ownership in departments’ hands, driving near‑100% user adoption; the team freed up most of its time for development, the site scaled from ~3,000 to ~30,000 pages, branding and updates became consistent and faster, and an online academic catalog reduced printing and improved information currency.
