A OpenText Case Study
South African National Parks (SANParks), custodian of nearly four million hectares across 21 parks including Kruger, needed a more reliable, enterprise-wide way to manage critical preservation data and connect dispersed, remote staff. Paper-based processes, communication gaps and data inaccuracies were slowing operations and threatening the organisation’s ability to protect biodiversity.
SANParks implemented OpenText AppWorks and Content Suite, with integration support from Datacentrix, to modernise infrastructure, automate core processes and secure compliant access to content for internal and external conservationists. The transformation improved connectivity and collaboration, reduced delays and errors, and strengthened SANParks’ capacity to meet its biodiversity conservation mandate.
