ACI Worldwide, a global payments provider powering electronic transactions for thousands of organizations and handling $14 trillion in daily payments, relied on continuous integration and ran over 10,000 tests daily but lacked a centralized test repository. This caused manual reporting, high administrative overhead, poor visibility into execution progress, and slowed release cycles—creating a need for an automated, integrated testing solution.
ACI implemented Silk Test, Silk Central, and Silk Performer to create a streamlined, end-to-end testing process with integrated requirements and defect tracking, real-time execution status, automated test assignment/execution, and structured reporting. The team now runs automated load and duration tests to find bottlenecks early, has reduced two days of manual work per release (nearly 60 releases/year), and delivers faster, more reliable releases with improved scalability and visibility.
