Sigma Group, a Paris-based managed services provider with 40+ years of experience serving retail, insurance and IT customers, needed to give SMB clients more control and agility by migrating to a hybrid cloud model and supporting existing VMware resources. To deliver IaaS and PaaS with a pay-as-you-go model and replace manual processes, Sigma evaluated several vendors and selected Micro Focus Cloud Service Automation and Operations Orchestration.

Using Micro Focus’ Hybrid Cloud Management Suite, Sigma automated infrastructure provisioning, integrated lifecycle management with VMware, and launched a self-service catalog. The result: VM deployment time fell from 2 days to 13 minutes (≈220× faster) and staff effort dropped from 4 hours to about 15 minutes, freeing expert teams for higher‑value work and enabling flexible provisioning, pricing and new cloud services (backup, monitoring, security, load balancing).
