OpenText implemented VM Explorer to replace Serit Skagerak’s previous backup tools, simplifying backups across VMware and Microsoft Hyper-V. The switch saved employees hours of manual scripting each week, enabled six successful VM restores with no data loss, and in some cases allowed infected VMs to be restored in as few as six minutes.
