A OpenText Case Study
Allegiant Travel Company, an airline that generates most of its revenue through its website, needed to protect customer credit card data while keeping online booking fast and seamless. To meet PCI DSS requirements and reduce risk to its brand and customers, Allegiant turned to OpenText for data security and compliance support.
OpenText implemented Voltage by OpenText with Secure Stateless Tokenization and Voltage SecureData Web with Page Integrated Encryption to encrypt card data at the browser and remove it from Allegiant’s IT systems. This reduced the attack surface, simplified PCI audits, and helped Allegiant achieve compliance without diverting developers to legacy retrofits. OpenText’s solution also freed staff for revenue-generating projects, supported a new application that produced additional revenue, and helped Allegiant pass PCI Level 1 audits more quickly and at lower cost.
