School District of Hartford - Customer Case Study

The School District of Hartford, a long-term user of OpenText’s NetIQ Access Manager, needed a better way to manage and synchronize user identities across its systems and Office 365 environment. The district wanted a single, centralized point of access and easier control over staff accounts with less manual administration for its small IT team.

OpenText implemented NetIQ Identity Manager, using the Office 365 Driver to connect the district’s eDirectory with Office 365 Active Directory and automatically provision and synchronize accounts. The result was quicker deployment, simplified access with one set of credentials, stronger centralized access management, and a significant reduction in administrative workload, freeing up time and boosting IT productivity.
