Citizens Energy Group, a utility serving about 900,000 people in Indianapolis, needed to speed and simplify testing of its mission‑critical Esri ArcGIS Field Maps app—used to plan and report pipeline inspections—because manual smoke tests took about 20 hours and pulled engineers away from strategic work. The challenge was to accelerate releases, reduce human effort and maintain strong security controls.
