A OpenText Case Study
Sanitas Troesch AG, Switzerland’s leading kitchen and bathroom supplier with around 970 employees and 19 branches, faced a costly information-management problem: complex kitchen and bathroom projects produced more than six million sheets of paper a year in the bathroom sector alone, creating heavy manual filing and search efforts and posing audit-compliance risks. The paper burden and time lost to administrative tasks limited staff capacity for value‑adding work.
To address this, Sanitas Troesch implemented OpenText Extended ECM for SAP Solutions as a digital sales dossier, eliminating paper flows and providing centralized, SAP-integrated access to documents. The solution cut paper use by about three million sheets per year in the bathroom sector, saved up to CHF 40,000 annually, freed time equivalent to four full‑time positions, and guarantees legally compliant storage for ten years as rollout continues toward some 700 planned users.
