Pick n Pay, the retailer, needed better testing visibility, traceability, and faster delivery as it moved toward agile and DevOps practices. Working with OpenText and partner VicIT, it adopted OpenText Software Delivery Management, later upgraded to OpenText Core Software Delivery Platform, to modernize application development and testing.

OpenText implemented a SaaS-based platform that unified manual and automated testing, improved reporting through Jira integration, and enabled earlier defect detection and stronger automation. Pick n Pay migrated test cases in one weekend, had all e-commerce test cases in production within three months, and increased release frequency from every two weeks to about weekly, while improving quality, reducing manual testing, and shortening time to market.
