A OpenText Case Study
Madura Fashion & Lifestyle, part of the Aditya Birla Group, is a fast-growing branded apparel retailer with over 3,000 points of sale. Rapid expansion, seasonal demand and a rising number of SKUs exposed weaknesses in its heterogeneous ERP landscape: manual spreadsheet-based forecasting for 10,000+ SKUs, poor inventory visibility across multiple channels and stock points, and no linkage between production plans and financial budgets, which slowed order release and hurt supply chain agility.
Madura implemented OpenText Cordys BOP to integrate SAP AFS, Oracle Retek and other systems, replacing spreadsheets with a unified planning tool that combines top-down and bottom-up forecasting, real‑time integrations and finance linkage. The solution cut planning time from 15 days to under 5, improved inventory turns by over 30%, enhanced governance and order fill, reduced inventory write-offs, and enabled further automation of replenishment and returns processes.
