PT Reycom Document Solusi (RDS) Group, Indonesia’s largest production and scanning service provider supporting insurance, banking and government clients, faced capacity overload as document volumes surged—printing 1.4 million policy documents in 2012 and handling complex policy files often exceeding 120 pages. Their legacy in-house system was slow and error-prone, causing batch jobs to take up to eight hours, frequent manual coding for customer-specific changes, and idle high-speed printing capacity.
RDS deployed OpenText Exstream CCM (POC then live in early 2013, implemented in three months) to consolidate more than 200 templates, centralize processing and enable interactive, multi-channel documents while moving costs to an OpEx model. The solution cut document-creation time by 70% (batch jobs from eight hours to 30 minutes), increased throughput to 1.6M+ policy documents (and over 100M insurance documents overall in 2013), reduced operating expenses and positioned RDS as a digital leader in Indonesia.
