Rasameel Structured Finance Company, a Kuwait-based financial services firm specializing in Sharia-compliant capital markets, needed to minimize paper use and eliminate lost or misfiled records while making documentation quick and easy to retrieve across the enterprise. From its start the company aimed for a paper-light, efficient document strategy but faced challenges in capture, storage and retrieval that threatened productivity and its green objectives.

Rasameel implemented OpenText Document Management, eDOCS Edition with local partner MGS, deploying an enterprise-wide filing structure, metadata standards and user training in about a month. The solution became the single source for document activities across HR, finance, legal, IT and operations, delivering fast remote search and retrieval, time savings, better knowledge sharing and reduced printing and physical storage costs.
