Preview of the Rabobank Case Study

Rabobank powers up orchestration with automation building blocks.

Rabobank, a global leader in food and agriculture financing and socially responsible banking, serves more than 10 million clients across 40 countries and operates nearly 20,000 servers. Its ICT team, a long-time user of Micro Focus Operations Orchestration, faced a flood of automation requests and needed to standardize development, maintenance, and delivery to scale beyond a small engineering team.

The team created reusable drag-and-drop automation building blocks, QA and error‑handling workflows, and catalog-based portals (Infrashop and Marketplace) for plug‑and‑play and self‑service automation, plus generic remediation flows for automated incident resolution. This approach reduced human error and development time, fulfilled requests in minutes, supported up to 75,000 flow runs a year, reduced MTTR and on‑call impact, and delivered roughly 120,000 hours of annual ROI.
