Quality Center on SaaS delivers a fresh impetus for application testing at Lufthansa

Lufthansa needed a more standardized, cost-effective way to manage test cases and support global software testing during its migration to the Star Alliance Common IT Platform and Amadeus customer check-in platform. To avoid the management burden of an in-house setup, Lufthansa chose OpenText Quality Center on SaaS.

OpenText implemented Quality Center on SaaS as a centralized, secure testing platform for Lufthansa, enabling access via the internet and supporting VPN/HTTPS encryption and centralized data storage. The result was a faster setup for new IT projects—from days or weeks to just minutes—plus lower IT costs, stronger governance, and growing adoption across the business, with usage expanding from 50 to around 200 concurrent-user licenses and 3,000 total users.
