PJM Interconnection Strengthens ECM Stance

PJM Interconnection, the regional transmission organization that ensures reliability of the high‑voltage electric power system for 65 million people across parts of 13 states and D.C., needed to modernize its enterprise content management (ECM) stance. The organization sought faster, organization‑wide access to corporate information and a way to meet regulatory requirements from FERC and NERC as well as internal retention and security standards.

Working with OpenText, PJM deployed Content Suite along with Email Management and Monitoring for Microsoft Exchange, Records Management, and OpenText Managed and Professional Services. The solution sped content access, automated email retention, and strengthened security while increasing operational efficiency, improving collaboration, enforcing procedures and policies, and providing ongoing managed support for upgrades and compliance.
