Beyond ONE, a telecom and digital services provider, needed a more scalable and flexible data analytics platform to support growing workloads, stricter data privacy requirements, and expanding use cases across the business. Working with OpenText and its Vertica solution, the company also wanted to reduce manual data management steps, lower storage costs, and better support advanced analytics for teams like Finance, Sales, and Product.

OpenText implemented Vertica Eon Mode with support from Integrated Digital Technologies, separating compute from storage and adding Amazon S3 cloud object storage plus tighter integration with data lake and BI tools. This gave Beyond ONE the ability to scale for resource-heavy queries, expand to 200TB of licensed capacity, and run machine learning and predictive analytics in-database. As a result, manual work was reduced, operational costs decreased, and Beyond ONE reported a significant drop in customer churn.
