FindLaw, a pioneer in online legal information and marketing for law firms, wanted to maximize the value of its newly redesigned FindLaw.com by ensuring content was easy to find and driving high-quality visitor engagement. After the relaunch the team couldn’t confidently measure how design and content changes affected user behavior or business goals.
FindLaw engaged OpenText Optimost Managed Services to plan and run multivariate and A/B tests—Optimost handled testing, reporting and analysis while FindLaw only added a small JavaScript snippet. The program delivered clear, data-driven results (nearly 80% of tests showed positive lifts), increased engagement and traffic, enabled confident investment decisions, and allowed insights to be applied to smaller sister sites.
