OpenText™ Collaboration solutions bring ease of use, standardization, security, and stability in uncertain times

FCP Fritsch, Chiari & Partner ZT GmbH needed a secure, easy-to-manage collaboration and file-sharing environment as project teams shifted to remote work during COVID-19. Before using OpenText Filr, staff relied on a mix of Dropbox, WeTransfer, Google Drive, OneDrive, FTP, and even CDs or USB drives, creating major user, management, and security challenges.

OpenText implemented Filr, Vibe, and ZENworks to centralize file sharing, project collaboration, and device management. The results included 30TB of data and 20 million files stored in Filr across three million subdirectories, daily mobile access without VPN, and simplified control of 300+ software bundles through ZENworks. FCP also reports its OpenText environment runs on just four servers, avoiding the need to quadruple infrastructure size with other solutions.
